<p>What would you do to survive?</p><p></p><p>Jessica has spent her life flying under the radar. She works an unassuming job at a grocery store smiles when she's supposed to and does enough to pass as normal. Beneath the surface though something isn't right. And she's learned to keep it buried.</p><p></p><p>Until the day everything unravels.</p><p></p><p>Caught in the chaos of an active shooter situation Jessica is forced to make a choice: run and die or let the darkness inside her free. She chooses the latter and when it's over she's hailed as a hero.</p><p></p><p>But Jessica knows better. What she did wasn't bravery. It was instinct. Something primal. And now that the mask has slipped it's not so easy to put it back on.</p>
