This spiritual aspect is the interface through which men engage with God and the spiritual realm using the inherent senses of faith hope and prayer. The spirit also possesses a subconscious mind.</p><p> Man possesses a physical body that interacts with the material world through the five senses of sight smell hearing taste and touch. Scientific research indicates that our mental processes emotions and will are intricately linked to the body through our endocrine nervous and immune systems. Additionally scripture emphasizes a significant relationship among our physical emotional and spiritual well-being. As noted in Proverbs 17:22 A cheerful heart is good medicine but a crushed spirit dries up bones. </p>
