What is math learning about: drill practicing or work steps writing?

Learning secondary mathematics is a complex issue that encompasses educational practices culture environment motivation resources etc. However in all cultures the eforts have been foccused on two components: classroom understanding of mathematical concepts and practicing these concepts in various forms and levels. Teaching itself takes the role of faciliating these components. This book tries to explain that the components of classroom understanding and concept practicing are subjected to various practices and formats in American and Albanian cultures. Most of the times these practices determine the success or failure.
