What is watershed

Watershed management is an important factor in the present situation. From India''s economic point of view the entire agricultural sector of India is dependent on water. It is important to do watershed management in postgraduate courses in geography in collaboration with Savitribai Phule Pune University. In the syllabus of the study watershed area management importance of watershed area as well as watershed development is done by different organs. In India it seems that there has been no rainfall for many years since 2010 so water scarcity management is a course offered by the University of Pune considering most of the regions due to water scarcity. It appears that the book is structured according to the 2020 syllabus.
