About The Book
Description
Author
This monograph examines the meaning of religion. An attempt is made to justify beliefs related to God and Goodness in the context of existential rather than ontological concerns. Traditional epistemology defines knowledge as justified true belief. Here I have defined Belief-Quotient (BQ) as justifed belief-decisions. In the theistic paradigm we are divided by the many ways we concieve the divine. But if we are to examine the meaning of religion it becomes imperative to place emphasis on why people believe rather than on what people believe. As such when the choice-- for or against God made we justify why we choose to believe in what we choose to believe.
