<p>When Civilizations Fall examines the collapse of past civilizations and discusses what those past collapses have to do with us today. Our world suffers from increased frequency of environmental disasters the use of limited resources and the potential return of major power warfare. Coupled with failures of democratic republics and a slide to authoritarianism it would seem that collapses are in the making all around us. What can we learn from the numerous civilization collapses of the past that could help us recognize today's patterns so we can rise to meet this moment in history?
