Floyd has been Pastor of the First Church of Christ in Pittsfield (MA) United Church of Christ since 1982. He previously served two pastorates in Maine and was Chaplain at the Bangor Theological Seminary. He holds a B.A. from Coe College in Cedar Rapids Iowa an M. Div. from Andover Newton Theological School and a D. Min. from Bangor Theological Seminary. Dr. Floyd has done post-graduate study at Oxford University and the University of St. Andrews.
