When I Was a Child

This collection of poems is based on childhood stories from a woman who grew up in the American south in the early part of the 20th century. She lived through the great depression started working in a factory during World War II raised a family saw the twentieth century end and the twenty-first begin. She continues to live in the same area where she grew up making the most of each day and sharing stories about her life. Bremen Georgia 2017.
