When My Brain Is Messy

I listen to my body to help me out real quick."</em></p><p><br></p><p>A heart-warming story about a young dinosaur who has&nbsp;<strong>sensory processing differences</strong>&nbsp;and needs the help of their parents to co-regulate through overwhelming situations when emotions are high, and regulating alone can be hard to do.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Each sensory experience is met with compassion and empathy, as our main character goes through a journey of understanding their needs and finding their rainbow.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>When My Brain Is Messy&nbsp;</strong>has been written in a rhyming, neuro-friendly way by an author who is a neurodivergent and a mother to neurodivergent children, in hopes of creating awareness and acceptance of individuals who thrive on being their authentic selves.&nbsp;</p>
