When The Ice Gives

A collection of gripping tales that display man kind's dramatic trials and will to survive when casted apart from the world we call our own. Told through the eyes of characters not much different from ourselves we are witnessed to the survivors of a wrecked plane as they traverse through a hostile and unforgiving tundra in hopes of reclaiming touch with anything besides that of which is stalking their every move; a small group of soldiers stripped and clinging to their last strengths are forced against the wall where a single command could mean their end; a married couple sit inside the remains of an upside down cab buried deep within the snows of winter as something--not so human--tries to set them free and not for their own wellbeing. These stories among seven others portray life and our struggles to keep it from departing us. But when the ice gives there is no knowing of how long we will truly have it.
