About The Book

The book When the Light Fell in Love with the Fire refers to a creature from another world. This creature opens its eyes at some point only to realise that it is in the world of humans in an indeterminate past era. He has no prior memory. He doesn’t even remember who he is where he comes from and why he finds himself in the world of humans. There is only a faint recollection of a female figure. He’s not sure whether she exists or whether she is some distant memory or a figment of his imagination. He starts looking for answers. It is a tug-of-war between emotions and his contact with humans. At first he avoids them he doesn’t like the way they think and act. With the passage of time though this relationship changes just like the way he is viewed by humans. This book is not a simple story but something different. It is written from a first-person point of view like a diary but in a way that shows the hero’s inner dialogue addressing a person he doesn’t know whether she exists or not and doesn’t focus on the story so much as on the hero’s thoughts and feelings. It is viewed from a different angle a director’s viewpoint. The reader can entertain his or her own thoughts as this book is meant to be thought-provoking. It entails a lot of soul-searching and gives us a lot of stimuli keys and images so that readers will set out on their own inner journey reach their own destination and have their own musings. It is an inward journey infused with lyricism soul-searching and philosophical ponderings with an imaginary veneer.
