John Liu a young Chinese engineer working for a Canadian company in Shanghai China who was being trained in Vancouver headquarter got lost in Squamish and RCMP announced his missing. Liu's fiancée Cindy Xin who was also working for the same Canadian company came to Canada looking for Liu. Actually Liu didn't get lost but met a UBC student Charlotte and joined her emergent action to protect the Great Bear Rainforest from being logged by a private lumbering company.
