When will Femida move on the name America

At the beginning of the 16th century one of the most interesting events in history was the naming as America of the newly discovered continent on the other side of the Atlantic by Christopher Columbus on October 12 1492. This name appeared on some maps without the knowledge of most scientists. In the first stage nobody gave importance to this current issue. In 80% of the maps made by European cartographers this territory began to be presented as America. This issue became a serious problem after America appeared frequently on maps. But it is true that Spain Portugal and Italy denied to call this continent as America and Europeans temporarily called this unknown territory as the coasts of the New World.
