When words are not enough

This true story of one woman's journey through grief after the death of her husband is told through a series of short essays each one paired with a work of art created by the author/artist. The combination of words and images makes for an incredibly rich honest and powerful experience. Drawn into the author's grief journey the reader vicariously experiences the painful raw beginnings of her grief her awkward transitions and then-as her grief softens and transforms-how she learns that grief can be something one can live with. Ultimately this narrative demonstrates the resiliency of the human spirit and the ability each of us has to heal a wounded heart.
