She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband. Sally and her husband have four adult children and eight grand-children. Her family has lived in many places around the world including Nairobi Kenya. Sally founded a primary school in Kenya The  Rainbow School in 2006. Sally travels often to Kenya to visit and teach her students.
