Joannie Waters unlucky in love had settled into a quiet lifestyle in her cottage she had inherited. Since graduation she had worked at the local newspaper that is until her best friend from high school offered her a chance at a new life beyond Harrisville NC. Her life had done a 180-degree turn in the happiness she found. Yet when she inherited the newspaper and property plus a new homemore money then she'd ever dreamed of she moved back to her hometown of Harrisville N.C. After getting married she'd became pregnant. Her doctor wanted to know her family's medical history. She had no idea who her daddy was and thus started her journey for answers.
