Oliver is exiled to The Zaag a living dimension that consumes souls and entraps them in eternal suffering. Confined within this horrific realm Oliver immerses himself in the journals and books of the forgotten desperate to understand the nature of his surroundings. As the years pass Oliver deciphers the lives of previous prisoners uncovering a potential escape route. However his journey reveals a profound truth: darkness is essential to balance light and evil is necessary to counteract good. He realizes that true malevolence can manifest as something seemingly perfect or entirely good. Furthermore he discovers the existence of counterparts within the multiverse-each individual has a highest self and a darkest self intertwining their fates in ways he never imagined.
