White Rose Red Rose symbols of nonviolent resistance freedom and love. With these forty short poems Johnny Baranski and David Rosen arrange a bouquet of hope. While our world is under threat of so many dangers nuclear weapons terrorism racial division and climate change to mention just a few it is their belief that the language of flowers will prevail. Johnny Baranski has been writing haiku and its related forms for over forty years. He is the author of several chapbooks including: Pencil Flowers: Jail Haiku; Convicts Shoot the Breeze; Just a Stones Throw; and Blossoming Pear. His newest collection Fireweed will appear in the Folded Word Press chapbook series for 2019. A member of the Haiku Society of America Haiku Canada and the Portland Haiku Group Mr. Baranski lives in Vancouver Washington. David H.
