White Sidewalks

<p>...Life is just a stroll on a white sidewalk-</p><p>Every scene and sound a private mirror in time.</p><p>I have purchased it all with cupcakes and memorized prayers. </p><p>Time now to drink this soul elixir from this ancient cup.</p><p>I dared the ghosts here to come out and show themselves.</p><p>I dared them to show me their regretful shadows...</p><p><br></p><p>The mind excursions that form this nostalgic quilt came into literary existence during the daunting times of Covid-19.</p><p><br></p><p>Please consider this work as just an escape-poem for the poet and for the reader from a world closed down...</p><p><br></p><p>-Stark Hunter</p>
