Oral diseases are the most prevalent chronic diseases worldwide and a burden to health‑care services. It has taken over a century for dentistry to advance from the pioneering ―extension for prevention‖ concept to a newer concept ―minimum intervention‖. The main types of enamel demineralization include ―incipient lesions” and ―surface-softened defect” which are the other names used to describe white spot lesions. This book describes in detail the etiology diagnosis and the various methods of its management.
