David Garvins stories have been published in Pleiades (Pentecost Night) Literal Latté (Jersey Street) and Zuzus Petals (Thuggish Cuckoos). He has read his work at KGB NYC. One of his stories won the 1st Place National Story Award presented by Birmingham College (Palo Mayombe). Another Coyotes Lair Mojave a novella was a semifinalist in The Paris Prize 2013 while his short story White Sun won a partial scholarship to the Dzanc Books/CNC DISQUITE International Literary Program in Lisbon Summer 2013. Garvin lived in Yucatán for most of the Seventies where he owned a restaurant. He has written four plays three of which were produced in NYC: Malecón and High Jolly at Theatre Genesis and Lawless William at La Mama ETC.
