Who Resides in Me?

Who guides my conscious mind and actions? Driven by a similar curiosity and the philosophical nuances of Charvaka perception the protagonist embarks on a quest to uncover the original script ‘Jaya' attributed to Ved Vyas in order to explore truths that Vyas has not revealed to his disciples. During his journey to Rakhigarhi Kurukshetra and Gangotri he encounters odd characters whose extraordinary stories awaken the dormant narratives within him. Time loses its directionality oscillating between past and future like a pendulum. The untold stories unfold before him as reflective realities. As he thinks of dismissing these experiences as hallucinations or dreams trying to interact in a parallel world assuming new existence the touch of his feet on the Thamrabharani soil rekindles his Vedic knowledge. He becomes aware of the energy that guides his conscious mind quelling his persistent doubts. He realises that the renunciation of thoughts is the key to liberating the self from the cycle of birth and death. Determined to escape the realm of ‘illusion' he resolves to avoid being ensnared by the 'Vasanas' that threaten to draw him into the worldly abyss.
