<p>A close examination of Western criminological and sociological theories may help explain why violent crimes persist on the Navajo reservation to a higher degree than violent crimes found in other parts of American society.&nbsp;For example violence could be social because violence is contingent upon the situation culturally and sub culturally patterned and historically variable.&nbsp;Murder could be an impulse and considered psychological.&nbsp;Fear hatred and/or dissociation could be the causal emotional factors behind every murder.&nbsp;These theories may support the reasons why violent crimes happen.&nbsp;Additionally a comprehensive stance on today's Glittering World and how this world is linked to violence will be presented from the Navajo viewpoint.</p>
