Dr. Shagufta Naj (M.Phil. Ph.D. NET U-SET) is an Assistant Professor in the Postgraduate Department of English at Mahant Darshan Das Mahila Mahavidyalya a constituent college of B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University Muzaffarpur Bihar. She earned her M.Phil. and Ph.D. in English from the Department of English H.N.B. Garhwal University (A Central University) Srinagar Uttarakhand. Dr. Naj is an active academic regularly participating in national and international seminars and workshops. She has published several research papers and articles in reputed national and international journals including UGC CARE-listed publications. Beyond academia Dr. Naj is also a published poet. Her poems have appeared in esteemed literary platforms such as Muse India (New Delhi) Poetshunter and Setu (Pittsburgh USA). She is the author of the book A Comparative Analysis of Feminist Perspective in the Works of Alice Munro and Ismat Chughtai published by BlueRose Publications India and London.
