When a large man grabs me and throws me into the back of a white windowless van while I'm being chased by an angry drug dealer I can't say I'm surprised. While it's the first time this has occurred I've been in weirder situations.</p><p></p><p>It's probably more accurate to say I have a way of finding trouble. Because when the man says he was hired by my brother to save me I'm not surprised. I am surprised when I end up on a ranch somewhere in Wyoming near the Rocky Mountains in some kind of lucrative mafia witness protection program. When I mess that up within a week by sleeping with one of the owners well no one is surprised by that.</p><p>I left my home in Kansas City only to ruin things in Wyoming. I'm not sure I'm cut out to be cowgirl but I'll be damned if this breaks me. </p><p></p><p><em>Wild Goddess is book 4 of the Hidden Gods series.
