Wildflower Blooming

<p><em>Wildflower Blooming</em> is the debut collection of poetry by multidisciplinary artist Crystal Reyes. Her book tackles themes of femininity motherhood sexploration Spanish customs and healing through self-love. She formerly found herself in a crisis of domestic violence lingering to hold it all together for the sake of her first-born she made the courageous decision to leave a toxic marriage despite cultural norms. Instead of surrendering to depression or <em>chismes de la familia</em> she made it a personal journey to rebuild her life around healing generational traumas and finding her true self in all her splendor. Reyes examines what takes root after detrimental life-experiences and cultivating wholesome moments from what was once broken. Her voice is unique as you will see many of her poems interweave & embed Spanish English & Spanglish together in various forms.</p>
