This nuclear power has a thriving economy and the second largest population in the world. Although India is officially a secular democratic republic the views of the Hindu majority play a significant role in the political decision making of the country. In fact stability of the vast South Asian region (see Appendix A) is often dependent on the will of a people living in a dynamic religiously-focused environment.</p><p>This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
