William Goudie: A Veritable Apostle To Ikkadu

There is always an answer from God for a sincere prayer. In 1848 a Wesleyan Methodist Missionary visited Tiruvallur and its people; he trembled at his heart by seeing the idol worships prayed to God sincerely for them and requested the readers to pray through a Wesleyan journal "let us hasten then to send them the Gospel that they may be instructed in the way of salvation pray to Christ to save them." followed by his prayer.Within few years the result was amazing a great mission station at Tiruvallur was established by Rev. William Goudie.
