Currently the renewable source of energy is boon over conventional sources. Among renewable energy source today wind energy is the most effective one. Being cost effective it is clean and environment friendly renewable energy resource. As wind turbine is a mechanical device and have rotating parts. Presently wind turbine manufacturers are facing problem related to its component failure leading to huge time money and energy production loss. To obtain data we are going to cite some of previous journals and articles showing the type of failure responsible for particular wind turbine component. Later for ranking purpose of obtained failure types we are using TOPSIS method for which input data is to be collected from experts. Then we will analyze the existing wind turbine model obtained from industry. Next task is about finding the root cause behind failure of components. After this experimenting different parameters like material shape size and type of load on each component and analysis of its outcome using ANSYS Software. Design optimization to be carried out which will result in increased life span of component. If results are satisfactory then suggest to industry. Though this have some limitation like for change in any dimension of component can lead to complete change in setup of manufacturing process if material change is obtained in result then availability of material is also point of consideration. After successful completion of project it will increase the overall life span of components leading to high durability of wind turbine and making more cost effective. Thus it will lead to increase in installation of wind turbine benefitting the industries and society by being environment friendly by adaption of green and clean energy.
