Winning in Christ

<p>Most folks view the <em>Book of Revelation</em> skeptically regarding it as a fictional writing difficult to read and understand. With his astute ability and Scripture knowledge Robert Blair helps us see that <em>Revelation</em> wasn't meant to be the purview of scholars and gurus but was intended for ordinary people. </p><p>               <em>Revelation's</em> setting was a time when Christians daily encountered threats and persecution meted out by Roman authorities. On occasion extremist Jewish leaders also kindled oppression and torture of Jesus' followers.  </p><p>               God's Spirit designed <em>Revelation's</em> symbolic message to help believers remain steadfast in the face of inhuman terror and deprivation.
