Even though He was born in Kerala- one of the hot weathered states of India He loved the Himalayas and travelled all over it. Swami Tapovan-ji Maharaj documented His travels to help spiritual aspirants understand not just the beauty of Himalayas but also It's sacredness and the various pilgrim spots and areas.</p><p> </p><p>Swami Tapovan-ji Maharaj spirit of dispassion His spirit of sacrifice and His thirst for knowledge increased His fame and a lot of men and women started to come to Him eager to learn and study Vedanta. Swami Chinmayananda Maharaj who founded Chinmaya Mission a world-wide organization with it's mission of spreading spirituality and Vendata knowledge throughout the world was sent by His Guru Swami Sivananda Maharaj to study Vedanta under His guidance.</p><p>This compilation of His wisdom words is a small dedication to Swami Tapovan-ji Maharaj on His 100th year of leaving home to become a renunciate in the months of August-September (Janmasthami day) in 1923.</p>
