Wisdom Throughout the Ages

As a Historian I've had the opportunity to study various cultures and their religious views spiritual beliefs and philosophical thoughts throughout the ages. While doing so I came across many quotes proverbs and popular phrases. Some of these were very familiar while others were obscure and/or variations of some more common sayings. I began collecting the ones that appeared to be anonymous and even added a few of my own creation. I started utilizing this compilation for classroom review student warm-up activities and even as a means to entertain guests at my home. They help foster discussion debate and higher level thinking skills. Many of them are also motivating and inspirational. What I now share with you took over fifteen years to collect and publish.
