<p>For centuries witches waged a hidden war against the Dominion of Heaven resisting a god whose power was enforced through miracles plagues and holy wars. At the war's darkest hour a coven of seven witches attempted the forbidden Ritual of Severance-a spell meant to shatter God's hold on Earth forever.</p><p>But the ritual backfired. Instead of ending His influence it tore the Veil between realities.
