With Three Days Notice The Author Reported To The White House For Duty As The First Coast Guard Aide To The President. During His Eighteen Months As Aide He Kept A Diary Of His White House Experiences. Several Books Have Been Written About The Presidents And The White House But Few Have Been Written By Someone With The Scope And Familiarity Of The President'S Activities As His Military Aide.
