Civil wars characterized most African countries in the post-colonial era. During the war children both boys and girls were actively and passively involved. However girl child soldiers experienced unique challenges post war. This book seeks to delve into the unique impacts active participation in the civil war had on the girl child soldier. The impacts are broadly categorized into physical social and psychological impacts.
