<p>Even in the twenty-first century women working in the field of Christian theology still find it necessary to insist on behind heard. In order to provide a platform for these women the blog Women in Theology (WIT) was started which hosts contributions from a spectrum of Christian traditions Catholic Eastern Orthodox and Protestant.</p><p>This collection is a curated and edited selection of posts from WIT along with new pieces from regular WIT contributors. Some of the contributors may not be well-known now but we will surely be hearing more from them in the future.</p><p><strong>Elissa Cutter</strong> who holds a PhD in theological studies from Saint Louis University is assistant professor of religious studies and theology at Georgian Court University. Allison E. Murray has a PhD in theological studies from Emmanuel College University of Toronto.<br>+</p>
