WOMEN EDUCATION

The book “Women Education and Its Impact on Their Work Participation and Fertility Rate in West Bengal” focuses on different dimensions on socio-economic status of women in West Bengal with special reference with Darjeeling District. The author has studied the educational status of women of the state and the Nation as well as Darjeeling district their work participation fertility rate in different parameters. The study has covered the status of women education in rural and urban areas in West Bengal and Darjeeling District. Comparative analysis has been done to find out the impact of education in work participation fertility rate and birth control measure. The author has collected specific data by interviewing sample population and analysis has been made to establish the relationship between education and birth control measure education and employment and employment and birth control measure. Finally the author has shown the overall women empowerment with the positive growth of education.
