Women Gender and World Politics

Written as an introductory textbook for the study of world politics and the analysis of gender this work is suitable for courses in International Relations international political economy women''s studies gender studies and Feminist studies. The 14 authors who have collaborated on this publication are a diverse group of diplomats scholars and political activists from the United States Canada and many other nations. This text is designed to parallel traditional IR introductory texts that examine the field and describe how it ought to be studied and why. The contributors consider gender analysis as an alternative perspective for understanding world politics.
