WOMEN OF THE NT BIBLE

Despite the misogyny and heterarchy perception of biblical women as written by men some were able to carve out positive paths sometimes heroic even for themselves creating a more gender balance. Because of these gender imbalances the book aims to bring awareness to the women mentioned in the Bible under six categories: Women in general queens prophetesses/disciples/healers judges/rulers/leaders heroines/warriors and concubines/surrogates of the NT Bible. The NT featured women and their contributions will be listed alphabetically for easy reference.
