Women Political Participation in Lahore Pakistan

Women political participation is a well known phenomena in the subject of women empowerment. Starving for political development Pakistan is facing gender inequality and weak women political participation from the very first day. Political development is difficult to achieve without half portion of population. Lahore is the second largest city with a high literacy rate. Women engagement in socio-economic and socio-political activities is analyzed through sociological socio psychological and rational theory. Author examines women political participation in Pakistan and highlight the socio-economic and socio-cultural hurdles and conclude that Socio-economic development leads toward political development.
