Women's Entrepreneurship Development in Ethiopia

The book examines the level of effectivness and impact of a civil society organization in addressing challenges of women entrepreneurs in the informal sector in Ethiopia particularly in Addis Ababa in their efforts to grow their business. In this regard a case study of a non profit organization named Women in Self Employment was taken and its approach critically examined and compared against theories on gender and development a study by ILO on Effectiveness of Entrepreneurship Development Interventions for Women Entrepreneurs and a study by International Center on Resarch on Business Development Services for Women Business Growth.
