Women's Football

This is a study about women's soccer in the south of Brazil specifically the Pelotas/Phoenix club. Pelotas is the longest-running women's soccer club in Rio Grande do Sul a Brazilian state. It's a club that has become an exponent of discovering talent but then we ask ourselves talent for where? Talent for whom? Talent with what future expectations? These questions gave rise to this work which aims to understand how the professionalization of these athletes develops.
