WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP AND MOTIVATION IN MALE-DOMINATED INSTITUTIONS

About The Book

This research was conducted in Goma town Nord Kivu province in the Democratic Republic of Congo from 2014-2016. Its findings indicate that women and girls remain underrepresented in institutions from both private and public sectors. Women leaders in male-dominated professional institutions often face several challenges which demotivate them to take more responsibilities. Key recommendations were provided to address these barriers to advancement including gender bias stereotypes and a lack of supportive organizational structures. Women's organization are encouraged to read this investigation for finding more strategies to empower girls and women for more efficiency.
