The basics of Aphyllophorales geographical information of Pune District Maharashtra stateWestern Ghat’s is given. The National and International work on poroid & non-poroid Aphyllophorales has been discussed.The macro and micro-morphological characters of the fruiting bodies of Aphyllophorales has been mentioned systematically. The materials and methods includes two sub-parts namely the Taxonomic and the Database part. It describes the methods followed in the study of Mycobiota of the areas on the vegetation and the methodology for the IAD Database preparation respectively.The present work materially adds to our knowledge of Poroid and Non-Poroid Aphyllophorales. A total of 20 species of Aphyllophorales from the 10 respective hosts were identified. The database shows total 1646 records in which total 1217 species were recorded.The unavailability of the literature may develop the disliking of the subjectso IAD-Reference Database is small effort which has been published on the only fungal taxonomic website from India giving details of Indian fungi i.e. www.fungifromindia.com from which every species has been linked to www.mycobank.org serves the purpose of all myco-researchers.
