Woodstock 1969

WOODSTOCK 1969 -- The most iconic music festival of the 20th Century was held in August 1969 on a farm in upstate New York. It was called Woodstock. This photo album features the most dramatic and memorable pictures from that event. The three days of the festival saw nearly 300000 people attend. Although torrential rains created a muddy mess the event was deemed a success musically and spiritually by the musicians and audience members if not a success financially for its investors.
