Woodstock Music and Art Fair was a three-day Aquarian exposition at White Lake Bethel Sullivan County New York August 15-18 1969 on Max Yasgur''s dairy farm.Pete Fornatale in his book ‘Back to the Garden: The Story of Woodstock’ wrote: “Woodstock was without question the high watermark of the 60s youth revolution musically politically and socially. A gathering of half a million young people gathered to flex their cultural muscle and celebrate their life altering music sending shock waves from upstate New York to the rest of the country. This legendary tribal gathering put Woodstock front and centre in the consciousness of citizens around the world...”.
