Mary Lincoln hid a speech which Mr. Lincoln had thrown and had been very important at the time because it was about slavery. The given speech propelled him into the White House. It's called the lost speech and it really happened. I decided to treat it as if it wasn't destroyed to give the reader an inside look into Lincoln family.</p>
