The book examines the extent to which organisational work life balance policies contribute in reducing work related stress among staff in an international organisation setting. In particular it investigates whether work life balance policies help to alleviate work related stress among support staff in the World Bank Kenya Office context. Furthermore it explores the importance of work life policies beyond how they are applied by shifting to look at ways in which work related stress can be mitigated through the effective application of institutional policies and programmes. Finally it provides some suggestions and recommendations on how employees can achieve effective work life balance individually in lieu of useful managerial practices.
