With equal concern for the rights of labor the imperatives of management and the (almost forgotten) constitutional right to privacy (esp. as per the past? era of employer-required employee screening/testing inc. lie-detector testing) author Dr. Angela Brownemiller (Browne-Miller) frames the issues neatly cleanly clearly. The question of purposefully not seeing what is going on is framed as a central choice all too frequently made. Chapters looking at the evolution of employers policies regarding employee drug (including alcohol which is a drug) use are fascinating and will remain relevant both historically and in times to come.
