Works of the Early Scottish Church

<p>This is a short collection of the few surviving documents from the early Scottish Church. Starting with the canonical works of St. Columba in the 6th century and ending with the assumption of the Church of Scotland under the English See of York in 1107 AD during the Norman period. Not included in this work are the larger vitas of early Scottish saints which would only be composed during the high medieval period. </p>
